Yarn
Outside the lab, I love crocheting science. What began as a few handmade viruses to give away at conferences has turned into one of my favorite hobbies. I enjoy exploring how microbes can be translated into yarn, experimenting with colors and shapes, and using crochet as a playful way to share science and connect with people. It's a reminder that curiosity and creativity belong just as much in science as they do in art.
